Addidas scraps controversial shackle shoe.
Arsenio coming back to television.
Microsoft new tablet to compete with IPad.
If you can’t find anything else in Prince George’s County, you can find store upon store full of athletic gear. I’m wondering if any of them were slated for shipments of Addidas new, but now canceled, JS Roundhouse Mids. I mean seriously, have you seen these things? The tagline on the Facebook page image read “Got a sneaker game so hot you lock your kicks to your ankles?” The shoes were designed by Jeremy Scott who also designed the Gorilla Sneaker for Addidas: see a pattern here? What’s worse is that there are people being interviewed saying that there’s nothing wrong with these shoes. What say you?
I can’t speak for you but I was a huge Arsenio Hall Show supporter during his heyday. Now Hall is 56 years old, yes 56, and looking to reenter the late night fray. September 2013, Arsenio will return to television as the host of a syndicated latenight show, which will air at 11pm in 17 markets, to include L.A. and Chicago. The way I figure it, with the likes of Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel, Conan O’Brien et. al. on tv, why not Arsenio? I’m a bit concerned that the audience might not be there. Considering the failures of Monique and the Lopez Latenight Show, Arsenio will have appeal to more than just Blacks, women, youth, or any particular demographic; this show will only work if it can cross boundaries. He’s going to have to hire a stylist too that can bring him firmly out of the 1990s. Whoa. I had a feeling Arsenio was up to something when I saw him as a contestant on The Apprentice. I didn’t know he had won the competition. Another whoa.
I don’t have a lot of info that the world isn’t privy to and I’m nobody’s techy but what the WHAT about Microsoft’s new Surface Tablet!! Will it be major competition for the IPad? Is this the IPad Killer? I just bought an IPad and am wondering now should I return it. Microsoft’s Surface Tablet will be able to run Microsoft Office, it has a kickstand, a KICKSTAND!!! From PC World, there will be “Surface with Windows RT and Surface Pro with Windows 8 Pro. Windows RT is the version of Windows 8 designed for ARM processors; it includes the new touch-friendly Metro-style interface, as well as a limited version of the traditional Windows desktop for running Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office...The Surface Pro tablets will be Intel-based with access to the Metro UI as well as to the fully functional Windows desktop and will come in 64GB and 128GB versions.”
