Penny Steals Major Dollars from The Arc (Demo)

Former administrator Penny Parker Green has been charged with wire fraud in relation to misuse of funds reserved for The Arc of  Prince George’s, a non profit group “committed to the welfare of people with developmental disabilities and their families.”
According to an affidavit filed in federal court, auditors found that Bowie resident, Penny Green had stolen about $136,600 to $166,140 from the Arc of Prince George’s.   Green was arrested and charged with wire fraud in federal court last week. The affidavit says Green used Arc funds and a credit card provided by the organization to fuel the economy with her clothing, furniture, and travel purchases, and then forged paperwork suggesting the items were for clients.  We got a real American here.

I know right about now you’re either shaking your head or having to close your gaping mouth.  How do you steal from these families?  Nonprofits in Prince George’s County are already extremely strapped for funds.  Did Penny really need all that cash?

Green’s attorney, Richard Finci, said he was reviewing materials in the case and could not comment on the allegations.  Man please.  If he has any sense, he’s working on a plea deal that will hopefully include FULL retribution.
